How to use PredTabs:

1. Enter each phase of your prednisone weaning plan in the box below
2. Add a dose, a frequency and a duration for each phase
3. Click Calculate and PredTabs will work out how many of each PBS strength tablet you need to meet the weaning plan

Using prednisolone instead? No worries! The PBS quantities for prednisone and prednisolone are the same.

Assumptions this app relies on:

• PBS pred quantities are as follows: 1mg tablet (100 units, 4 repeats), 5mg tablet (60 units, 4 repeats), 25mg tablet (30 units, 4 repeats)
• Each of the tablets can be halved as needed
